In todays day and age, anyone will say anything about their product to get a buck. The media is full of nothing but exaggerated claims and false promises.
Consumer reports cuts through all the muck and boils it down to what you get vs. what you pay, no filler. This magazine is the defacto, bar-none authority on products big and small. I wouldnt go one month without it.

Consumer reports is a great publication. Its full of fair reviews that do not get filtered by the manufacturer before publication.
Every time I plan on making an expensive purchase I pick up a copy of this magazine and give it a looking over before committing to something big.
