Black Friday and Cyber Monday Electronics Roundup by Brand
Whether you decide to go the traditional route and head out to the stores at midnight (or earlier) on Thanksgiving night, or play it safe by cyber-shopping from your place of work on the following Monday, statistics show that you will take advantage of this coming week’s exclusive deals to get your holiday shopping done. Therefore, rather than convince you to go out, or stay in, and buy, we’ve decided to assemble information on offers for the largest and most popular brands.
Nothing says “I love you” or “Happy Holidays” like a new iPad, iPhone, or MacBook. This season, retailers are offering deals on Apple’s newest and most desired products that just will not be around next month, so do not miss out!
As far as the new iPhone 6 goes, both Target and Walmart, two of the nation’s largest retailers, are offering the phone’s 16GB version for just $199 in-store with a 2-year contract. Walmart shoppers will also receive a $75 Walmart gift card, while Target shoppers will receive a gift card for $30, making Walmart the clear winner in terms of savings.
If you’re in the market for an iPad, Target is the place to be. The iPad Air 2 16GB will be available in-store and online for $499, which translates to real savings when you consider the device comes with a $140 Target gift card!
Finally, for the iMac and MacBook lovers, Best Buy is offering a wealth of deals on its website this coming weekend. The iMac will start at $899.99, the ultra-lightweight MacBook Air at $799 and change, and the MacBook Pro at just $899. In other words, a phone or a tablet is one thing, but if you are looking for a desktop or laptop Best Buy is certainly the place to shop.
As much as Apple products have come to dominate the market in many areas, there are some of us who simply prefer other brands. And if you are one of those individuals, do not be alarmed! This coming weekend there are some great deals on brands like Samsung.
Typically, retailers like Best Buy will offer slightly outdated mobile phones (like the Samsung Galaxy S4) for essentially no cost, with a contract of course. But have you ever heard of this practice going on with new models? In-store on Black Friday, Best Buy will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S5, which normally goes for $200 with a contract and $500 without, for just $1 with a two-year contract. As an Android-lover myself, I am having a really hard time resisting this deal, and I am supposed to be objective!
Retail giant Best Buy is also offering in-store and online deals on a number of Samsung tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, the brand’s most feature-laden model, will come with a $399 price tag, while less-costly tablets like the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 will be going for just $149. Basically, if you are in the market for a Samsung, Best Buy is the place to be.
No matter what your brand loyalties are, and we all have them to some degree or another, do not miss out on these deals because we truly will not see anything like them for another year. Good luck shopping for your new electronics!
